I really do not understand why the Voyage was killed off. That said it took me 7 years to find a Kindle worth my money to upgrade. Oasis is great but I don't love the price point and I don't need some of the features that drive that price point (whisper cast for one). This new Paperwhite is fantastic. Battery life is crazy in airplane mode. I got one at release and read daily for 15-40 minutes and I have not had to charge it yet...I think its at 75% after 8 weeks of use.
