Frame includes white matting, clear acrylic facing, rigid cardboard backing and hanging hardware kit (some assembly required)
Matted frame is designed to display a 20 x 28 inch photo/print/poster (matting will overlap image by 1/4 inch on each side). Frame will display a 24 x 32 inch photo/print/poster without the matting (frame lip will overlap image by 1/4 inch on each side).
Frame moulding is 1.25 inches wide; solid wood construction
Frame is designed for WALL HANGING only (hanging hardware allows for portrait or landscape orientation)
Comes with everything necessary to hang your picture. If the description wasn't clear enough, the "clear acrylic facing" is a sheet of transparent plastic (what we used to call "Plexiglass") that you'll commonly find with poster frames. That sheet is protected by two layers (front and back) of peel-off film . There were no scratches or blemishes on the sheet when I removed the the film. The mat is the correct 20X24 on the outside and 16X20 on the inside.One thing to note...if you use the hanger provided, make sure to shorten your wire more than normal to keep the hanger hidden.All in all it did the job and saved me both time and money.
