When I was shopping for a gym bag I was looking for all these features....shoulder strap, outside water bottle pocket inside pockets and needed to fit in locker and stand on its own...this bag does it all. Plus it has extra straps if you want to carry a yoga mat. Fits everything I need to carry. I have only used this for a couple of weeks now but it seems sturdy and should last a long time! Wished it came in a Paisley or Mandela pattern...oh well can't have everything.
